Med-Reunet I | Summary

The European Commission supported Med-Reunet project (ICA3-CT-2002-50002) aimed to generate strategies, technologies and management practices for local, safe, publicly acceptable, economically feasible and sustainable reuse of treated wastewater with the involvement of European, Mediterranean and world experts.
Med-Reunet I has already been successful in the activities planned:

Creation of a network of experts in the field of wastewater reclamation and reuse in the context of The Mediterranean basin. This working group has exceeded 392 members in 49 countries so far. |

This website has been created as a platform for the network. A virtual forum encourages cooperation between network members. |
|
|
An International Seminar on Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse has been held in Izmir, Turkey on September 25-26th to discuss about topics related to the management of this source of water. Conclusions are compiled in a proceedings DVD/CD. |
